Moisturise A Go-Go

Properly moisturised skin is a completely different being, appearing more youthful and completely rosy-cheeked! Whilst a lot of things that go into properly moisturised and healthy skin come from within, there is much to be said (and gained) for moisturing a go-go.

We all moisturise in the mornings, this is a given. But as the day wears on, and facial products sink into the skin, sometimes skin can start to dry out by mid-morning or lunchtime. What we love to do at that point is moisturise on the go.

The technique is simple, and there are endless products available to use. You just have to find the one that suits your skin’s condition at different times of the year, as skin moisture levels change with the seasons.

We highly recommend Dr. Hauschka’s Rose Day Cream, which comes in a tube and is easy to tuck into your handbag or makeup bag wherever you are going. It’s a true go-to, and comes in the original version (very moisturising) and a lighter version.

The tried and tested technique is simple. Take a tiny, tiny amount of moisturiser on the tip of your finger (ring finger is best) and gently push the moisturiser into your face with a light patting motion wherever it feels dry, even over your foundation! It works, every time.

If you feel you need a bit more foundation where you are moisturising, add a tiny drop of your usual foundation to the mix, or add a drop of Dr. Hauschka’s Translucent Bronzer Concentrate, and pat away. You will love your skin all day long, wherever you are.
