Sundays matter. A lot. Everything that means anything happens on a Sunday. It sets up your week, it’s real life, new beginnings, and a fresh start 52 times a year.
What happens on Sunday lasts all week. Here are 9 things you need to do to get younger:
1.) Plan your healthy meals and snacks for the week. Consider what you are doing, where you will be, what you will need to stay energised, and satisfied. Bake that healthy bread (http://rosycheeked.com/get-it-while-its-hot-bread-that-is/), make that soup (http://rosycheeked.com/the-ever-youthful-tom-ka-kai/), get salads organised, make a great, green dressing for everything (http://rosycheeked.com/green-it/), cook some grains like brown rice or quinoa to store in the fridge, bake some chicken, or beans for protein, and prepare that kale (http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/10046/stirfried-curly-kale-with-chilli-and-garlic). Make sure you have everything you need for a healthy, happy week (and put it in tubs in readiness!).
2.) Go for a long, brisk walk somewhere green and take in the scenery, along with all the fresh air and a few hills too (hopefully). Take along a loved one, or your best friend (this can be a dog – borrow one if you don’t have your own, the owner will be grateful you asked).
3.) Plan and ready your outfits for the week. This reduces stress levels.
4.) Be A Bathing Beauty (blog post/report currently under construction, so make it up for now). Include bubble bath, candlelight and bathing salts (http://www.aveda.co.uk/product/8930/21950/Collections/Stress-Fix-Soaking-Salts/Index.tmpl) at the very least, and soak away!
5.) Catch up on chores to have an easy mind come Monday morning, and beyond. Tidy your desk, bedroom and kitchen.
6.) Go over your diary, and make a list of anything that needs to be done during the week to feel organised. Send out any emails before 6pm.
7.) Spend the evening indulging yourself in your favourite television programmes, chat with friends, or get ensconced in your favourite book.
8.) Spend the last hour getting ready for bed, i.e., setting your alarm, brushing teeth, moisturising skin, cleansing face, etc. And don’t check your phone or Facebook!
9.) Sleep the night away.
Have a great week! Love, Coco
